Officials from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced that they would be easing contact tracing restrictions for businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, no longer requiring them to demand personal information from customers who refuse to provide it.
Sen. Ken Horn (R-Frankenmuth) said an easing of restrictions on the state’s restaurants in response to the COVID-19 pandemic would help an industry he described as “hanging by a thread.”
Michigan Sen. Kevin Daley (R-Lum) has supported four bills collectively titled “Return to Learn,” which he said would give school districts across the state added flexibility to tailor their curricula to benefit students and parents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
