State Representative Matthew Bierlein, representing Vassar, has announced a summer photo contest for residents of the 97th House District. The contest invites participants to submit their photographs via email to [email protected] by September 1. Each entry must include the participant's name, address, contact information, and details about when and where the photo was taken within the district.
Rep. Bierlein expressed enthusiasm for the contest: “Summer is a beautiful time of year in our communities and photos capture memorable moments, the scenic outdoors and much more,” he said. “I invite anyone who has an eye for great pictures and loves our state to send in submissions to my office as we go through the summer months.”
The winner will receive a personal tour of the Capitol with Rep. Bierlein and have their photograph framed and displayed in his office.
The 97th House District includes areas within Bay, Genesee, Saginaw, and Tuscola counties, covering Freeland; cities such as Auburn, Caro, Frankenmuth, Vassar; part of Montrose; and villages like Birch Run and Millington.
