State Representative Bill G. Schuette has rescheduled his “Ask Bill G.” office hours meetings to Monday, December 30, in Midland and Beaverton. These sessions were initially planned for December 13 but had to be moved due to an unexpected House session.
The new schedule is as follows: from 9-10 a.m., the meeting will be held at Creation Coffee on Eastman Avenue in Midland. The second session will occur from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Beaverton Activity Center on Tonkin Street in Beaverton.
Schuette commented on the rescheduling by stating, "Unfortunately, House session was unexpectedly scheduled for Friday as Democrats scramble to try and ram through various parts of their partisan, unpopular agenda at the eleventh hour." He added that he remains committed to updating residents about developments in Lansing and looks forward to engaging with them on December 30.
Rep. Schuette plans to meet individuals one-on-one during these times. Appointments can be made by contacting Luke Derheim, his legislative director, via email. Walk-ins are also welcome. Those unable to attend can reach out to Schuette’s office through phone or email.
These meetings signify two years of continuous monthly office hours since Rep. Schuette began serving in the Michigan House, demonstrating his commitment to being accessible to his constituents.
