Representative Bill G. Schuette, representing the 95th District in the Michigan House, paid tribute to Officer Steven Pomransky of the Midland Police Department for his recent act of bravery and heroism. Officer Pomransky, a 23-year veteran, responded to a dangerous situation on westbound US-10 near the Bay City Road exit ramp in November.

In this perilous incident, three elderly individuals were trapped in a vehicle that had caught fire. Without hesitation, Officer Pomransky, along with a brave bystander, risked their own safety to rescue the occupants and save their lives. Representative Schuette commended Officer Pomransky for his dedication to public service and his courageous actions.
