Census Bureau: 78.5% of people in Midland County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 83,467 citizens living in Midland County in 2021, 78.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 65,542 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 32,311 were male, constituting 49.3%, and 33,231 were female, making up 50.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Midland County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 78.2%.
