Concept 5 Sewer Improvement Plan | City of Midland fb
TRAFFIC ALERT: Sugnet Road will be closed to through traffic from Main Street to Valley Drive beginning Monday, April 3 as we begin a series of pipe upsizing projects related to the Concept 5 Sewer Improvement Plan. When completed, this project will increase the sizing of over 8,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipes in this area to improve sewer conveyance. This will be done at the same time as street reconstruction and will look and function just like any other City road construction project.
This is an extensive, multi-year project with many working parts. We'll be completing this work in phases (outlined below) with the total project estimated to be completed in June 2024.
• Phase 1: Sugnet Road from W. Main Steet to Valley Drive.
• Phase 2: W. Main Street from Sugnet Road to Saginaw Road.
• Phase 3: Saginaw Road from W. Main Steet to Perrine Road.
• Phase 4: Perrine Road from Saginaw Road to Moorland Drive. P
Work on areas of the project after Phase 1 will not begin until substantial completion of the previous phase has occurred.
