Media Creator Workshops | City of Midland

March 3, 2023 – The Midland Community Television (MCTV) Network is offering media creator workshops to residents and nonprofit organizations located in Midland County. 

At these workshops, attendees will learn how MCTV can help share a story to inform, communicate, educate, and entertain the community. In just one session, participants will learn how to get started with producing a TV show, creating an audio podcast, putting a video creation on YouTube, and serving the community by volunteering with MCTV.

Workshops will be held on the following dates: 

  • Wednesday, March 8 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 9 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. 
Subscribe to MCTV’s Media Creator Workshop calendar on the City of Midland website to get notified of more upcoming workshops and training opportunities. 

Pre-registration is required. Register by calling 837-3474. Cost is $45, which includes the $20 workshop fee and a full year MCTV User membership for $25. To use the MCTV Network, users must be a resident of the City or County of Midland over the age of 12 or represent a non-profit agency within the County of Midland.

Midland Community Television is located in the lower level of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library at 1710 W. St. Andrews Rd. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Evening and Saturday hours are available by request. MCTV is a service of the City of Midland.
