Thank you to the The Bay County Historical Society/The Historical Museum of Bay County for sharing these #TBT photos from the May 18, 1980, rededication and open house of City Hall! In the one picture you see Mayor Anne Hatchel on the steps of City Hall. She was the first female mayor of Bay City.
According to information collected by the U.S. Library of Congress, approximately 10,000 people toured City Hall to see the result of renovations completed between 1977-1980.
