Bay-Arenac ISD Superintendent Deborah Kadish has announced her retirement

A10

Bay-Arenac ISD Superintendent Deborah Kadish has announced her retirement, effective August 31, 2022. Mrs. Kadish made this announcement at a recent Board of Education Meeting.

Mrs. Kadish began her career with BAISD in 2010 as a Special Education Director and in 2012 was appointed to the Superintendent position. Prior to coming to BAISD, Mrs. Kadish was a teacher, Special Education Supervisor, Assistant Principal, Principal, Director of Secondary Education, and Director of Special Education with school districts in Indiana.

Mrs. Kadish stated that after 44 years in education, the decision to retire was difficult. "I am grateful for the opportunity to work with so many dedicated BAISD staff members, partner districts, community groups, families, and of course, students as a partner for each student's success."

The Board of Education for Bay-Arenac ISD is now accepting applications for the position of Superintendent.
