The City of Iron Mountain is currently accepting applications from interested Iron Mountain residents to serve on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission’s objectives are to advance the community’s physical and economic development through enforcing current development standards, engaging in long-term planning with stakeholders, business owners and citizens and reviewing current development standards to ensure long-term goals are being met thought zoning regulations. The Planning Commission meets the second Monday of the month at 3:30 P.M. Applicants may apply by submitting a letter of interest at the Office of the City Clerk/Treasurer, 501 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain, MI 49801, no later than 4:00 P.M. on May 13, 2022.
