Census Bureau reports Saginaw population was 48,407 in 2020

Saginaw had a population of 48,407 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Tri-City Sun.

The median age was 35, with 50.5 percent of the total population being female and 49.5 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 9,973,907.
