Staff from Chippewa Nature Center visited Kindergartners at Mackensen Elementary today, introducing students to an engaging lesson touching on living vs. non-living, asking scientific questions, and looking for evidence.
Funding from a Great Lakes Bay Region STEM Access & Equity Initiative Mini Grant ensures all BCPS Kindergarten students will receive visits from Chippewa Nature Center in the classroom, a field trip to the nature center, and follow-up lesson ideas for their classroom this spring.
