Bay City Department of Public Works issued the following announcement on Feb 24.
While we didn’t get much snow, we sure had some ice to deal with today!
Our Streets team spent the morning salting our major streets. We finished there around noon and have now moved onto salting local streets. However, we will not get to all of them today. Anything not salted today will be reached today will be a priority tomorrow. The low temperatures and lack of sun (is it spring yet?!?) is not helping.
