Bay City School District recently issued the following announcement.
You may have noticed a recent update in our "about" section with the addition of our Social Media Disclaimer. Just kidding, no one checks the about section.
We're posting the full disclaimer here with the hope that you'll take a look and help us continue to utilize this platform to share information and interact with our stakeholders. When you reach out to us via a social media comment or private message, we do our best to get back to you as soon as we can. You're always interacting with one of just a few folks who help run the page: Ben Tierney, Director of Communications & Family Engagement, Dr. Stephen Bigelow, Superintendent, or the fine folks at Digital Mitten, who help us create posts and monitor our pages.
This disclaimer isn't reinventing the wheel or introducing new rules - it's just putting in writing the practices we've been following so we're all on the same page. Thanks for connecting with us, and feel free to reach out with any questions or comments.
