Bay City School District issued the following announcement on Jan 20.
Our December Educator of the Month is a familiar face to more than one generation of Hampton Elementary families. Monica has served as an Administrative Assistant at the school for nearly 32 years, accepting the role in the fall of 1990. She has been with BCPS for 34 years total!
It is also worth noting that this may be our first Educator of the Month who does not serve in a traditional teaching role. All BCPS staff serve our students with the ultimate goal of providing the best education possible - we are all educators. Congratulations to Monica Anthony, and thanks for all you do!
