City of Bay City recently issued the following announcement.
YARD WASTE UPDATE
Time is running out to have your yard waste picked up curbside! This service and brush collection end on November 30th each year and resume on April 1st.
As we shared earlier, beginning Dec. 1, 2021 and running through Dec. 10, 2021 – the Bay City Recycles Drop-Off Center will accept YARD WASTE free of charge for CITY residents. However, an appointment is required and it MUST be in a yard waste bag or plastic container so it can be dumped. This service is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays only. Go to www.BayCityRecycles.org and click on ‘Drop-Off’ to get started. Scroll down and choose ‘Yard Waste/Compostable Material’. A fee will show up but will be waived at drop-off. The fee will only be waived for yard waste.
