Meet our new Social Worker!
Hello! My name is Laina Glaser. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelors degree in Psychology and Family Studies in 2010. I received my Masters of Social Work degree in 2012 at Grand Valley State University. I am a fully licensed Social Worker and I have additional specialty certifications in trauma therapies and substance abuse treatments. I have previously worked at Michigan State University as a Sexual Assault Program Therapist and a University Counselor at Wayne State University.
I am married with two beautiful children, who are my world. My husband and I both grew up in Chesaning and could not be happier to have moved back after living in Detroit for the past 4 years. There really is no place like home! I am so looking forward to working at the Middle School and meeting all of the amazing students and families.
