Bay City School District issued the following announcement on Oct 1.
In Mr. Danielski's 8th grade Social Studies classes at Handy Middle, the top performers from each class are selected to become the Historian of the Month (the criteria is each student selected must have an "A", have good attendance and show good behavior). Once they have the choices from each class, they are presented to all of the 8th grade social studies classes and one winner is chosen. This month the award goes to: Ace Lapan.
"He works hard, he is an amazing student/athlete, and he is a model student for others to look up to. So very Proud of him."
