City of Bay City recently issued the following announcement.
Street access to the Edward M. Golson Nature Center and Boat Launch will be unavailable Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 through Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021. The Golson entrance will be closed while construction crews remove and replace the pavement at the railroad crossing near the N. Johnson Street and N. Water Street intersection. The work is part of ongoing construction along Johnson. The Golson entrance and the intersection are expected to reopen on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021.
As a reminder, the City of Bay City has two other boat launches including the Veterans Memorial Park Boat Launch and the Cass Avenue Boat Launch.
