City of Alma issued the following announcement on July 31.
WATER METER READER
The City of Alma is currently seeking a Water Meter Reader. The position is part time with a starting pay rate of $14.74 per hour. Flexible hours that average 40-80 hours per month. The meter reader is responsible for the accurate and timely reading of water meters to facilitate customer billing. This position requires extensive walking in all weather conditions.
Requirements: Valid Michigan Operator license, high school diploma or equivalent, and satisfactory driving record is required.
Deadline for applications is Sunday, August 15th.
