Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
We regret to inform you that we will NOT be hosting the annual Merchant Trick ‘r Treat in Imlay City this year.
After reviewing the CDC guidelines, the chamber board has decided that there is too much risk involved for our community.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your business.
Please keep in mind that these are odd times and the situation changes quite often.
Know that we are actively working towards having more community events, but our #1 one priority is to keep you and your family safe.
