Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.

Name: 2019 Bulk Trash Pick-up

Date: September 19 2019

Details

Republic Services is partnering with the city of Breckenridge to conduct a monthly bulk pick-up for the residents of Breckenridge. This bulk pick-up service allows residence to have no more than three bulk items (no loose trash) picked up each each month.  Items for pick-up must be placed a minimum of 3 feet away from any poly carts.  A special collection vehicle will collect the bulk items (which can include bagged or bundled yard waste – restrictions apply, see below).  The driver will only collect from ONE location per residential unit (all three items must be together).  All items MUST be placed curbside the day BEFORE collection is to take place.  In order to be included on the pick-up list, you must call the City of Breckenridge offices (254-559-8287) the Friday BEFORE each pick-up date.

BULK ITEM PICK-UP DATES:

July 18th, August 15th, September 19th, October 17th, November 14th, and December 19th.

APPROVE BULK ITEMS:

Stoves, refrigerators (only if CFSs have been removed and tagged), water tanks, washing machines, furniture, bundled trees, shrubs or brush trimmings.  Bundled trees/shrubs/trimmings must be bundled or bagged, cannot exceed 3’ in length or 50 lbs. in weight, and must be securely tied together forming an easily-handled

BULK ITEMS THAT *WILL NOT* BE PICKED UP:
